
Mick is a Principal Consultant in Mercer’s Defined Contribution team. He advises a portfolio of clients on their Defined Contribution arrangements, supporting them on all aspects including the implementation and design, auto-enrolment, governance, investment and communications.
Mick has extensive experience in M&A projects, including DC plan set-up, consolidation, and wind-up. He is the Unit Head for Mercer’s DC business in the North of England. Mick is also a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, spending part of his time advising trustees and companies on their DB schemes.
He provides pro bono services to a well-known charity, sitting on their Pensions Steering Committee and their Remuneration Committee. Mick has an honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford.
Mick lives in Warwickshire with his wife Caroline (an economics professor) and they have two children, Isobel and Jacob. Hobbies include tennis, running and music.
