Barrie joined Oliver Wyman in 1993 after graduating from Trinity College, Cambridge. His background is in Risk Management within Financial Services with a particular emphasis on the modelling and management of crises. For the last five years Barrie has been leading Oliver Wyman’s digital work for leading banks globally including the creation of number of greenfield digital propositions. This work built upon Barrie’s depth of knowledge in data and analytics.

Barrie was one of the lead creators of Oliver Wyman’s Pandemic Navigator, a suite of tool which derives economic output from epidemiological scenarios. Since its development the tool has been put to widespread use by policymakers, health professionals and companies in the private sector.
